FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has rolls for feeding tape to working chamber, which is made in the form of housing incorporating scutching drums rotating in one direction. Beater bars mounted on scutching drums in two parallel planes are provided with protrusions having fiber combing pointed apexes. Projection of protrusion apexes on apex base plane is offset relative to base center away from axis of rotation of scutching drums. EFFECT: simplified construction and improved quality of bast fibers by reduced linear density and decreased content of non-cellulose contaminants. 4 dwg
