FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of engineering, and more particularly to inertial propulsor. Inertial propulsor contains a body, mounted in it driven shafts with an unbalance fixed on each of them, rotated in mutually opposite directions, and mechanisms for rotation of the driven shafts. Unbalances unfolded 180° rotating coaxially in a vertical plane with a constant angular velocity. Body consists of two cylinders – internal and external, with the possibility of coaxial rotation of the outer cylinder relative to the inner one in the direction of the inertial propulsion. Rotation in the opposite direction is limited to the locking mechanism, and the inner cylinder is an unbalance with the displaced center of mass along the vertical axis from the axis of symmetry due to the arrangement of engines in its lower part, mechanisms for the rotation of driven shafts, structural elements of their fastening and unbalanced loads.
EFFECT: increase in efficiency and compact propulsion are achieved.
