FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a liquid level monitoring system both in a spent fuel pool of nuclear power plant and for other process tanks in which liquid filling control of discrete levels is required. Liquid level monitoring system contains a level transducer with sensing elements and an electronic converter including a microcontroller. In the converter are introduced an analog-to-digital converter, a generator, a multi-channel switch and a series-connected rectifier and the analog-to-digital converter which output is connected to a microcontroller input which first output is connected to a digital-to-analog converter input, a second output is connected to a generator input, and a third output is connected to a first input of the multi-channel switch, a first input / output of which is connected to a generator output and a rectifier input, while its other inputs / outputs are connected through a connection unit to the inputs of the sensing elements of a level transducer, respectively, including the connection unit, a guide made in the form of a chain with sensing elements mounted on it.

EFFECT: increase in reliability, noise immunity of the operating temperature range.
