FIELD: biochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to an ionic liquid-solvent complex containing cations and anions and prepared in the presence of a solvent, to a method for producing the ionic liquid-solvent complex, as well as to a method for producing linear alkylbenzene using the ionic liquid-solvent complex. Ionic liquid-solvent complex for catalyzing reactions is represented by formula I, [UMiXj] S, wherein [UMiXj] is an ionic liquid, and S is an organic solvent; wherein U is a cation selected from group consisting of amide, phosphine and phosphine oxide; [MiXj] is an anion; in which M is a metal selected from group consisting of Al, Fe, Zn, Mn, Mg, Ge, Cu and Ni; X is a halogen, selected from group consisting of F, Cl, Br and I; i and j are values from 1 to 6. Method for producing the ionic liquid-solvent complex comprises the steps of: a) adding the organic solvent to a flask charged with the cation under a nitrogen atmosphere, and stirring the reaction mixture for a period of time in the range of about 10–50 minutes; b) immersing the flask in a water bath maintained at a temperature of about 10–40 °C, and adding the anion by slowly stirring the reaction mixture for a period of time in the range of about 10–50 minutes; and c) stirring the reaction mixture for about 2 to 6 hours to obtain the ionic liquid-solvent complex.
EFFECT: resultant complex has a high storage time and provides minimum consumption of the catalyst used for the reactions.
