FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the automation of sampling of high-abrasive free flowing middling products in pipes, gutters, vessels and other flows of mining and processing, chemical-metallurgical and other industries. In the upper part of body (5) of the device, air actuator (1), automatically controlled by a programmable controller (PC) and control unit (CU) is mounted, output rod (4) is connected to sampling rod (8) made with a transverse slit in the other end portion of the rod with a hermetically sealed hollow end immersed in the flow of the pulp. Glass (14) with an adjustable split gland seal and a cleaver of the sampling rod slot through which sampling rod (8) passes is rigidly fixed to the outer side of flange (9) along the axis of movement of rod (4) in the body (5). Length of the bottom gland seal must satisfy the condition: Lk>Lo, where Lk is the length of the sealant; Lo is the distance from the end of the rod to the sampling slot.
EFFECT: reliability and service life of the sampling device is improved in conditions of high pulp flow susceptibility.
