FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical technology, namely to apparatus for artificial circulation and systems for extracorporeal membrane oxygenation. Device for controlling blood flow in the cardiopulmonary bypass device comprises a controlled blood recirculation channel with the possibility of parallel connection to the rotary pump on one side to the inlet part of the pump main line, and on the other side – to the outlet part of the pump main line. Controlled blood recirculation channel comprises a valve coupled to the valve control unit providing pulsation at a predetermined frequency and porosity of the blood flow entering through the oxygenator into the arterial line of the cardiopulmonary bypass system by partially or completely overlapping and opening the lumen of controlled recirculation channel.
EFFECT: technical result is providing a physiological pulsating flow at a constant speed of rotation of the pump impeller to minimize blood trauma and cavitation when using pumps of different designs.
