SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an armrest support for a vehicle. Armrest for a vehicle includes an elongate body, an extendable support, a plurality of spokes and a power port or a data port arranged on the elongate body. Body is movable between a vertical stowed position and a horizontal deployed position and is configured to support the weight of a passenger’s hands in the vehicle. Extendable support is configured to be withdrawn from a cavity in the elongate body and is movable between a deployed position and a stowed position. Spokes are arranged on and configured to rotate about a distal end of the deployable armrest support. Spokes include polymeric pads configured to support a portable computing device.
EFFECT: more comfort to passengers looking to work and use portable computing devices within the vehicle.
