FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the means for sealing enclosures of closed radionuclide ionizing radiation sources (CRIRS). Sealing device for sealed radionuclide ionizing radiation sources contains the radiation protection chamber, the vertical laser emitter with the focusing system and the CRIRS positioning system. Radiation protection chamber is equipped with the radiation-protective blind body with the top and side glass penetrations. CRIRS positioning system is equipped with the horizontal movement mechanism with the output of the CRIRS positioning system from the blind body to the radiation protection chamber, the radiation protection chamber is equipped with the CRIRS loading station, two cassettes with the CRIRS blanks and two cassettes with ready-made CRIRS.
EFFECT: improved quality of welded seams at small (0,05–0,2 mm) thickness of welded CRIRS elements in the radiation protection chamber and increased protection of electronic and optical components of the laser radiation focusing system from sources of ionizing radiation.
