SUBSTANCE: use for investigation of materials without their destruction by directed flow of penetrating gamma-radiation. Essence of the invention consists in the fact that a hose-type gamma-ray flaw detector includes a radiation head, which housing is equipped with a protection unit with a channel containing a multi-link and hingedly connected source holder from a material which effectively absorbs radiation, which is attached to the radiator capsule, discretely movable wedge-shaped obturator, mechanical drive for moving the holder based on an elastic toothed cable and an ampoule line with a dead-end tubular tip, wherein the tubular tip with the possibility of telescopic reciprocating movements is spring enclosed in the cavity of the end element of the composite ampoule line equipped with an outlet window with wall thickness of not less than half-attenuation layer δ0.5 from tungsten, articulated with a discretely rotary magnetically fixed in the aiming position aiming frame, aggregated with a sharp focus laser sight, which axis coincides with the ionizing radiation beam geometric axis, wherein the sighting frame is made with possibility of automated extraction from the working beam of ionizing radiation at mechanical contact of the cone-shaped centralizer of the sighting frame with the end of the tubular tip, telescopically imported to the output window of the end element of the ampoule line during delivery of the emitter capsule to the exposure position.
EFFECT: providing the possibility of precise coordination of the working radiation beam relative to the control zone of the object, improved protective properties and high quality of control.
