Method for establishing a connection with a data service that is used in a mobile terminal comprises, when a data service connecting request is unsuccessfully initiated to a long term evolution (LTE) network by using a first access point name (APN) preset in a mobile terminal, a second APN is acquired, the second APN being an access point name allocated to the mobile terminal by the LTE network when the mobile terminal is attached to the LTE network. IP address allocated by the LTE network to the mobile terminal during the process of connecting to the LTE network is obtained, and a request is initiated to connect to the data service to the LTE network with the IP address and the second APN for establishing a connection with the data service.
