SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication provision systems. A method for wireless communication is proposed. According to the method, a request is received to establish communication between a data network and the user equipment (UE), connected to a mobile network. It is also determined, whether the selected local Internet protocol (IP) service is allowed for the UE based on saved subscription data for the UE. Then the local data network gateway is identified, which is associated to a base station of the said mobile network that serves UE. The gateway is used to connect to the data network, if the selected local Internet protocol service is allowed for the UE. The identification of the gateway contains a request to the mobile network cell that serves the UE, in order to receive the data set that associates the mobile network access points to local gateways of the data network. The identification also contains the confirmation of a DNS server request execution.

EFFECT: provision of decreasing the traffic load on Internet protocols in mobile networks due to usage of local packet gateways.
