FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of ferrous metallurgy, in particular to compositions of alloys based on iron, which can be used for the manufacture of equipment of the chemical, petroleum, textile industry. Iron-based alloy contains, by weight, %: silicon 0.2–0.3; manganese 7.5–8.0; chromium 23.0–24.0; nickel 4.0–6.0; titanium 0.04–0.1; cerium 0.1–0.13; zirconium 0.3–0.4; germanium 0.1–0.15; iron – the rest.
EFFECT: alloy is characterized by high corrosion resistance.
