SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to novel biologically active compounds derived from bisamides of dicarboxylic acids of general formula I or their pharmaceutically acceptable salts, where R1 is a 5-membered unsaturated heterocyclic group containing 2 heteroatoms selected from N and/or S, optionally fused to a 6-membered unsaturated cyclic group; R2 is a group -C(O)-R3-C(O)-, where R3 represents a group -(CH2)n-, optionally substituted by one or two C1-C6 alkyl, or phenyl, and n is an integer from 0 to 4. Derivatives of bisamides of dicarboxylic acids have the ability to form complexing compounds or chelated metal ions, selected from Zn, Cu, Fe, Mg and Ca. Present invention also relates to novel methods for the preparation of dicarboxylic acid bisamide derivatives of general formula I. .
EFFECT: derivatives of bisamides of dicarboxylic acids are used as an agent for prophylactic purposes and/or treatment of cardiovascular, viral, cancerous diseases, diseases associated with metal-dependent reactions of free radical oxidation, diabetes, iron deficiency anemia, late porphyria, poisoning with salts of transition metals.
