SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cooling the combustion engine. In the method, engine assembly 10 for the propeller-driven aircraft includes engine 11, drive shaft 13 driven by motor 11 and radiator 20 comprising passage 24 for arranging drive shaft 13, wherein passage 24 is positioned such that radiator 20 essentially surrounds drive shaft 13 in the circumferential direction. Passageway 24 may have various shapes, for example an opening inside radiator 20 or a blind slot formed inside radiator 20. Disclosed are a radiator for an aircraft and a method for cooling engines.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in cooling efficiency.
