FIELD: internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the cooling of internal combustion engines. Engine assembly (10) for a propeller-driven aircraft includes engine (11), drive shaft (13) driven by engine (11), and radiator (20) containing passage (24) for placing drive shaft (13). Passage (24) is located in such a way that radiator (20) essentially encircles drive shaft (13) in the circumferential direction. Passage (24) can have different shapes, for example, a hole inside radiator (20) or a non-through slot formed inside radiator (20).
EFFECT: invention provides for an increase in efficiency of engine cooling.
