FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the methods for monitoring seamless rail circuits (RC) by periodically supplying the discrete AC signals in case of the interval regulation of train traffic. Method determines the maximum distance traveled by the train during the time between the control polls of the RC, which is considered a critical zone of additional shunting, and the corresponding minimum threshold voltage of occupation. Lower boundary of the threshold voltage setting area is defined as the largest of the values, which are obtained in the shunt and monitoring modes and the minimum threshold voltage of the occupation, which is multiplied by the safety factor.
EFFECT: increased reliability of the RC state monitoring is achieved.
