FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a knuckle bracket and pair of knuckle brackets. Knuckle bracket includes a cylindrical bracket main body and a pair of gripping pieces. Cylindrical main body can be fixed by welding to an outer periphery of an outer tube of a shock absorber. Pairs of gripping pieces extend along an axial direction of the bracket main body and stand up toward the outside from the bracket main body to oppose each other. Bracket main body has a cut-away part and a compression part configured to abut a misassembly detection pin of a misassembly prevention device, the misassembly prevention device being configured to identify a type of the knuckle bracket. Compression part is disposed along an axial direction of the bracket main body in a center of the cut-away part.
EFFECT: misassembly is prevented.
