FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to surgical stapling and cutting tools and cassettes with staples intended for use with them. Surgical staple in a non-activated position comprises a base portion of the staple, a center of mass, a first leg of the staple, a second leg of the staple, side transition sections and vertical transient sections. Center of mass is arranged within the bracket base section. First leg of the bracket extends from the portion of the base of the bracket. Second leg of the bracket extends from the portion of the bracket base. Side transition sections extend the staple feet laterally from the staple base portion. Vertical transition sections extend the staple feet vertically from the staple base portion. Cartridge with surgical staples for use with a surgical stapling instrument comprises a cartridge body, a staple cavity and the above surgical staples. Surgical staples are stored with possibility of removal in staple cavities.
EFFECT: use of inventions enables tissue cross-linking.
