FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a process for the recovery of metals in the form of zinc (II), copper (II) and cobalt (II) from aqueous solutions of hydrochloric acid. The method includes extraction with bromides of prop-2-ynyl-, but-2-ynyl, oct-2-ynyltrioctylammonium dissolved in toluene. Zinc (II), copper (II), cobalt (II) in aqueous hydrochloric acid solution are extracted with toluene solution of prop-2-ynyl-, but-2-ynyl, oct-2-ynyltrioctylammonium bromides, which form complexes with each of the metals. The contact time of the organic and aqueous phases during extraction is 0.5-1 min. The re-extraction of zinc (II), copper (II), cobalt (II) is carried out with distilled water.
EFFECT: reduction of the extraction time of these metals in one extraction cycle with toluene solutions and reduction of the time and number of reagents required for the re-extraction of these metals.
