FIELD: radio engineering and communications.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and can be used as a source of sinusoidal oscillations, including in integrated circuits. RC generator comprises first and second terminals, first, second and third transistors, first and second resistors, first and second current sources, first, second and third capacitors and third resistor are introduced to form sinusoidal oscillations. At the same time, a decrease in the level of nonlinear distortions of the generated oscillations is ensured by a high quality factor of the oscillatory circuit Q, that depends only on the current transmission coefficients of the base of first and second transistors, and the correct choice of the parameters of first and second current sources and the resistance of third resistor. Oscillation frequency is set by selecting the resistances of the first and second resistors and the capacitances of the first and second capacitors.
EFFECT: technical result of the proposed RC-generator is an increase in the maximum frequency of the generated sinusoidal oscillations and a decrease in the level of the nonlinear distortions of the output signal.
