Apparatus comprises a first recovery unit for restoring, in the first recovery region of the third portion of the audio signal, depending on noise level information, if a third frame of a plurality of frames is not received using the reception interface or if the specified third frame is received using the receive interface, but it is corrupted, the first recovery area is different or equal to the tracking area.
EFFECT: technical result is the provision of improved concepts for sound encoding systems.
