SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of audio decoding. Audio decoder for providing decoded audio information includes: an error concealment configured to provide error concealment audio information for concealing a loss of an audio frame following an audio frame encoded in a frequency domain representation using a time domain excitation signal; wherein the error concealment is configured to combine an extrapolated time domain excitation signal and a noise signal, in order to obtain an input signal for linear prediction coding (LPC) synthesis, and also to perform LPC synthesis, configured to filter the input signal of the LPC synthesis in dependence on linear prediction coding parameters, in order to obtain the error concealment audio information; wherein the audio decoder is configured to provide decoded audio information using error concealment audio information.

EFFECT: technical result is providing improved audio information error concealment.
