FIELD: lighting.
SUBSTANCE: lighting device (1) is disclosed. Lighting device (1) comprises at least 2 light sources (2) which are arranged in a pattern along longitudinal axis (L) and adapted to emit light in a first wavelength range. Lighting device (1) also comprises wavelength converting layer (5) arranged at a distance from the at least two light sources (2). Wavelength converting layer (5) is arranged to receive light emitted from the at least two light sources (2) and adapted to convert light in the first wavelength range to light in a second wavelength range. Spectrally selective layer (6) is arranged between the at least two light sources (2) and wavelength converting layer (5). Spectrally selective layer (6) is adapted to reflect light in the first wavelength range having an angle of incidence smaller than a predefined angle and to transmit light in the first wavelength range having an angle of incidence larger than a predefined angle.
EFFECT: lighting device with improved illumination uniformity is disclosed.
