FIELD: wireless communication equipment.

SUBSTANCE: process variable transmitter includes a transmitter circuit for determining a process variable from a sensor signal generated using a process sensor. Transmitter circuit has an operating parameter. Process variable transmitter also includes a wireless communication module configured to provide power via a two-wire process control loop and communication with the mobile device. Wireless communication module may instruct the transmitter circuit to change the value of the operating parameter based on the message received from the mobile device. Energy storage component accumulates energy from the two-wire process control loop when the wireless communication circuit is inactive and provides additional power for the wireless communication scheme when it is active.

EFFECT: it is possible to power the wireless communication circuit.
