FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: messages from transport media have a time mark, which is compared with the time, when each of the messages was received by a central station. A processor at the central station determines the time difference between the time mark and the time the message was received. The time difference is compared with given time. If the number of received messages, with time difference bigger than the given time, exceeds a given number, then notice is sent to the facility, for example to the personnel at the central station.
EFFECT: provision for detecting problems arising in communication networks.
