SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy, specifically to high-temperature blast-furnace heating. Air heater of the blast furnace contains a nozzle, an under-nozzle space and a central combustion chamber. Central combustion chamber is narrowed in the area of the nozzle base, and in the area of the under-nozzle space it is expanded with openings for supplying gas and air into it and is equipped with a cone-shaped flame stabilizer.
EFFECT: technical result is to increase the operational reliability and economy of the air heater.
