FIELD: non-woven materials.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a non-woven material comprising a non-woven web formed of a plurality of fibers having a three-beam cross section, where each beam of fibers with a three-beam cross section has a length-to-width ratio in the range of 1.5 to 4.0; the non-woven web has a basis weight in the range of 5 to 20 g/m2; the non-woven web comprises a side provided with a pattern of bonded portions to which one or more unfastened areas are defined; and where the bonded area is between 10 and 32 % of the total side area; and the area of the uninhabited section (unfastened areas) is from 68 to 90 % of the total side area. Invention further relates to the use of this non-woven material. In addition, the present invention also relates to an absorbent article comprising the non-woven fabric.

EFFECT: method of manufacturing a nonwoven material is provided.
