FIELD: lighting.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the field of lighting. Interactive system for controlling redirected lighting in a light environment comprises an interactive display having a representation of said light environment, wherein said representation includes at least one repositionable light representation; light representation is associated with at least one redirected light source and includes a light source representation and a light effect representation. In this case, said light source representation includes at least one of a variable source size and variable source shading corresponding to the current value of the adjustable illumination parameter of said redirected light source; wherein said light effect representation includes at least one of a variable size effect and variable shadowing of the effect corresponding to the light effect of said redirected light source at the current position of said repositioned light effect representation. Adjustable lighting parameter of said redirected light source is changed in response to the drag gesture in or on said display, changing the contour size of at least one of said light source representation or said light effect representation, and wherein during said change, an area in the representation of said light environment that is unavailable for the redirected light source is allocated.

EFFECT: present disclosure is directed to inventive methods and apparatus for interactive control of a lighting environment.
