SUBSTANCE: lighting control in space method includes the steps of determining the orientation of daylight-blocking element and/or the lighting device 301 and automatically correcting at least one characteristic of the daylight-blocking element and/or the lighting device at least partly based on the determined orientation (305). The method may additionally or alternatively include the steps of determining the likely conditions of daylight at some time in the future and beginning to correct at least one characteristic of the daylight-blocking element and/or the lighting device before a certain moment in the future (202/203). Also, elements of daylight-blocking element and/or lighting devices are proposed.
EFFECT: providing the possibility of one or more aspects of lighting control methods.
