FIELD: lighting.

SUBSTANCE: method of directing light to a photosensitive surface comprises the steps of: associating the first sensor of a photosensitive surface with at least one of a plurality of light-emitting diodes; associating a second sensor of said photosensitive surface with at least one of said plurality of light-shaping LEDs; tracking the light intensity of the first sensor for said first sensor and the light intensity of the second sensor for said second sensor; detecting the locked state of the first sensor in said first sensor when said light intensity of the first sensor is below a threshold level for the first sensor; forming a first light output from at least one of said light-shaping LEDs associated with said first sensor when said first sensor is located in the said locked state of the first sensor; detecting the locked state of the second sensor in the said second sensor, when said light intensity of the second sensor is below the threshold level for the second sensor; and forming a second light output from at least one of said light-shaping LEDs associated with said second sensor when said second sensor is located in the said locked state of the second sensor.

EFFECT: simplification of lighting control.
