FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metal forming and can be used for the manufacture of articles by stamping. Clamping surfaces of the die and the workpiece holder of the device in mutually similar shapes are made with beads and comprise first surfaces, second surfaces, which intersect with the first surfaces, and third surfaces that intersect with the second surfaces from the outer edges to the centers of the die and the workpiece holder, each of the first surfaces comprising a plurality of recessed and projecting portions. In this case, from the outer edge to the center of the holder, the workpieces have any of a trapezoidal shape, a rectangular shape, or a combination thereof.
EFFECT: provides a better fixation of the flange of the workpiece and the exclusion of its movement into the forming region.
