FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to machine building. Device (22) for vibration damping of cable (16) comprises post (25) oscillating around rotary axis (26). First damper (30) dams the strut vibrations. Connector (27) is connected to the cable. Upper end of second linear stroke dampener (31) is connected to the connector and the lower end is connected to the post. Guide (28) provides sliding movement of the connector relative to the column parallel to the stroke of the second damper in such a way as to transfer the movement of the cable, transverse with respect to the stroke of the second damper, to the post irrespective of the second damper. Cable-stayed bridge contains pylon, flooring (14), shrouds (16) comprised of cables that slope between the pylon and the deck for hanging the deck. Device for damping the vibration of the cable is installed between the cable and the flooring.
EFFECT: it is easy to install the device in the structure at large amplitudes of vibration.
