FIELD: transport traffic control systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway automation and telemechanics in order to warn about the falling of foreign objects onto the railway track. Operation of the device is based on an analysis of the generator oscillation circuit frequency variation when the loop inductance changes due to the ingress of a foreign metal object into the area of the controlled section of the track, the change in the frequency of the oscillation circuit is also taken into account due to changes in weather conditions. Device comprises the two-core inductive loop that covers the monitoring area, the active element of the generator, pulse generation units, frequency measurement and logic signal generation, frequency comparator, level correction blocks and frequency level setpoints, control equipment unit and monitoring system for the monitoring area.
