SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of devices for processing sheet materials. Bill processing apparatus includes a bill loading and dispensing device, a shipping passage, a reject cassette, a note cassette, and a stacker for stacking banknotes. Device for stacking banknotes in a stack comprises a loading mechanism, a laying mechanism and a clamping and transporting mechanism. Loading mechanism includes an upper conveyor belt and an upper transport rotating shaft. Laying mechanism contains a platform. Platform is formed with the ability to hold banknotes and is adapted to selectively move up and down. Clamping and transporting mechanism is located above the laying mechanism in the form of a platform. Clamping and transporting mechanism has a clamping rod. One end of the pressing rod is rotatably mounted on the upper transport rotating shaft. Other end of the pressure bar is a free end and freely falls onto the platform. First grooved wheel and a second grooved wheel are provided on the rotatably formed end and at the free end of the pressure bar. First O-shaped belt is located on the first grooved wheel and on the second grooved wheel. First grooved wheel rotates synchronously with the upper transport rotating shaft.
