FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to tin-based alloys for slide bearings. Tin-based alloy for coating the bearing structure of the slide bearing with casting contains, % by weight: tin from 25 to 98, zinc from 2 to 30, antimony up to 25, copper up to 20, at least one alloying element selected from one or more groups I-VI. Group I: cobalt, manganese, scandium, germanium and aluminium in total content from 0.001 to 2.6% by weight. Group II: magnesium, nickel, zirconium, titanium in total content from 0.005 to 1.7% by weight. Group III: bismuth, indium, cadmium and lead with a maximum content of 5% by weight and a total content of at most 8% by weight. Group IV: lithium, silver, cerium, yttrium, samarium, gold, tellurium and calcium with a content of each up to 2.5% by weight and a total content of up to 4% by weight. Group V: arsenic, niobium, vanadium, chromium, tungsten, iron, lanthanum and erbium with a content of not more than 1.0% by weight and the total content is not more than 2.25% by weight. Group VI: phosphorus and boron with a content of not more than 0.1% by weight and in the total content not more than 0.2% by weight. Alloy as the main structural component contains the eutectic (βSn+αZn), which in the supercooled state of the alloy is a structure in the form of an icosahedral short-range order or in the form of clusters with a high packing density.
EFFECT: alloy has high strength at operating temperature.
