FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of bimetallic billets from aluminium-tin antifriction alloys by changing their physical structure by combination of heat treatment and plastic deformation, and can be used in production, for example, of sliding bearings. Method of producing bimetal blanks of antifriction alloy consists in melting alloy containing, wt %: lead 2.0-4.0, tin 8.0-12.0, copper 2.0-5.0 , zinc 1.5-4.0, silicon 0.1-1.0, titanium 0.02-0.2 , aluminium is rest, its thermal treatment is performed not later than in 3 hours after casting at temperature of T=230-270 °C for 2.5-3.5 h, and subsequent rolling in three steps, with deformation degree at first step, rolling, providing cladding billet with aluminium, the produced preparation clad aluminium strip antifriction alloy and steel strip for joint deformation, their joint deformation for production of bimetallic workpiece and final annealing of the workpiece, wherein heat treatment of antifriction alloy after each stage rolling is performed at T=230-270 °C for 1-3 hours, and final annealing bimetallic workpiece is performed at T=300-320 °C for at least of 2 hours.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at production of bimetallic billet with good tribotechnical properties at maintaining required characteristics of strength and plasticity along whole depth of blank.
