FIELD: internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in fuel injection systems of internal combustion engines (ICE). Structure of the fuel rail end seal for a gasoline engine with direct fuel injection is proposed. Fuel rail includes ramp body 1 consisting of a tube that is closed by plug 2 or plugs in the form of a cap nut, screwed or screwed at the end or at both ends of the ramp body. Metal gasket 3 is provided between the surface of the inner wall of the plug and the end of the ram body. Gasket is made compressible under the action of the longitudinal force created by the compression plugs, to seal the end of the opening of the ramp body. In this case, the ramp body and the plug are made of stainless steel or material obtained by subjecting low-carbon steel to surface treatment, using a nickel or nickel alloy, and the gasket is made of copper or brass.
EFFECT: structure of the end seal has a simple structure, allowing the product to meet the requirements of increased pressure and corrosion resistance.
