SUBSTANCE: fuel injector (1) includes nozzle body (3), injector body (21) and valve element (9). Nozzle body (3) has open end. Valve element (9) interacts with guide in nozzle body (3) and with guide in body (21). Joint (57) between nozzle body (3) and injector body (21) is flat. Compression element (10) interacts at least with some part of each of nozzle body (3) and injector body (21). Compression element (10) applies compression force at least to one of nozzle body (3) and injector body (21).
EFFECT: reducing tangential stress on fuel injector components.
