FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of ferrous metallurgy, in particular to the compositions of iron-based alloys used for the manufacture of parts of thermal units, furnaces, pipes, metallurgical equipment. Iron-based alloy contains, by weight, manganese 8.5–9.5, chromium 3.0–3.4, nickel 5.0–5.8, tungsten 2.8–3.2, niobium 1.0–1.5, zirconium 0.3–0.8, hafnium 0.8–1.2, iron – the rest.
EFFECT: result of the invention is maintained strength of the iron-based alloy at elevated temperatures.
