SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, in particular to compositions of iron-based alloys, which can be used for manufacturing parts of thermal aggregates, furnaces, pipes, metallurgical equipment. Iron-based alloy contains, wt%: manganese 4.5–5.5; chromium 1.0–1.2; nickel 5.0–5.8; tungsten 14.0–16.0; boron 0.1–0.17; copper 0.3–0.8; rest is iron.
EFFECT: alloy is characterized by high strength.
