FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of gas thermal technologies and can be used for powder coating by the method of low-velocity flame spraying. Method of gas-flame spraying of a nickel-based powder coating by means of a thermal spray includes activating a flame formed by the combustion of acetylene and oxygen, by feeding the initial activating additive in the form of a food-grade ammonium salt powder with transport air into the central channel of the thermal sprayer to form an activating atomic hydrogen and having the antioxidant properties of carbon dioxide and the introduction of the sprayed powder material into the activated flame by injection as a radial feed of the sprayed powder material in the jet of air under the cut of the nozzle of the temperature distributor.
EFFECT: increased physical and mechanical properties of coating the surfaces of machine parts and tools and reducing the danger in work.
