FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to novel donor-acceptor oligomers of general formula (I) , where n represents an integer from 1 to 5; m represents an integer from 1 to 3, as well as to a method of producing donor-acceptor oligomers, which consists in carrying out a Knoevenagel condensation reaction between a malononitrile and a ketone selected from a family of compounds of general formula (II) , where n, m have the above-mentioned values.
EFFECT: novel compounds are characterized in that they do not have alkyl groups, they are soluble in organic solvents, they have high thermal stability and they effectively absorb light in a range of from 400 to 800 nm.
