FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical engineering of organic and organoelemental compounds, which are donor-acceptor oligomers of general formula (I), in which n denotes integer from 1 to 4; m is integer from 1 to 3. Invention also relates to a method of producing compounds of formula (I), which involves reaction of Knovenagel condensation between malononitrile and a ketone selected from a series of compounds of general formula (II).
EFFECT: technical result is obtaining novel compounds characterized by high thermal stability and efficient absorption of light in region of 400 to 800 nm, which can be used to produce organic materials having effective absorption in the visible part of the spectrum, for example light-absorbing materials, novel organic dyes for solar cells, etc.
