SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of devices for gripping and retaining parts and can be used, for example, in manipulators. Device comprises an elastic element for holding the workpiece and its compression drive, ensuring deformation of its walls, while the elastic member has the form of a thin-walled tube with an elliptical cross section, and the drive is made with a reciprocating propeller and is located along the largest axis of the pipe section, the upper part of which is fixed in the drive holder from one end of the largest axis of the pipe section, and in its pusher – from the other end.
EFFECT: use of the invention makes it possible to expand the technological capabilities of the device and improve its performance.
