SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radio engineering, in particular to methods and devices for time synchronization of a wideband signal (WBS) in radiocommunication systems and in the cellular systems of Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA). To achieve the technical result, the method includes a two-stage modified estimate of the temporary position of the WBS using at each stage an iterative algorithm of high-accuracy estimation of the temporary position of the WBS and procedures for adaptive selection of optimal parameters for controlling the synchronization system taking into account the channel estimation.

EFFECT: technical result is the acceleration of the transient process of the time synchronization mode, Increasing the accuracy of the delay time delay compensation between the input WBS and the reference oscillator signal, ensuring invariance to the non-stationary nature of the input process and reducing hardware and software costs.
