FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to solid ingredient of catalyst, catalyst, and method of homopolymerization or copolymerization of olefins. Solid ingredient of catalyst forhomopolymerization or copolymerization of olefins comprises Mg, Ti and electron-donor compound of formula (I), wherein Z is selected from C, where groups R2, identical or different from each other, are hydrogen or C1-C20 hydrocarbon radicals that can be joined together to form a single cycle; m is a number equal to valence of Z, and n is integer from 1 to 6, wherein group (ZR2m)n of the formula (I) is selected from the group consisting of aliphatic diradicals, aliphatic diradicals substituted with C1-C20 alkyl radicals, aromatic divalent radicals and aromatic divalent radicals substituted with C1-C20 alkyl radicals; R1 are selected from C1-C15 alkyl groups, phenyl group, phenyl groups substituted with halogen and/or C1-C5 alkyl groups; R3 is hydrogen or C1-C15 hydrocarbon radicals; R4 are selected from hydrogen or C1-C10 alkyl groups. EFFECT: catalyst system based on a solid catalyst ingredient has high activity and stereospecificity.
