FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: spherical carriers for an olefin polymerisation catalyst, catalyst components, a catalyst, and preparation methods therefor are disclosed. Method for producing spherical carriers comprises the following steps: (1) reacting a magnesium halide with an organic compound containing active hydrogen in the presence of at least one polymer dispersion stabiliser to form a complex solution; (2) reacting the complex solution with an alkylene oxide type compound to directly precipitate solid particles; and (3) separating solid particles to produce spherical carriers. Polymer dispersion stabiliser is selected from polyacrylates, copolymers of maleic anhydride and styrene, polystyrene sulphonates, condensation products of naphthalene sulphonic acids and formaldehyde, condensed alkylphenyl ether sulphates, condensed alkylphenol polyoxyethylene ether phosphates, modified with an oxyalkylacrylate copolymer of polyethyleneimines, poly(1-dodecyl-4-vinylpyridinium) bromides, poly (vinyl benzyltrimethylammonium) salts, poly (vinyl alcohols), polyacrylamides, block copolymers of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide, polyvinylpyrrolidones, copolymers of vinylpyrrolidone and vinyl acetate, polyethylene glycols, alkylphenyl polyoxyethylene ethers and poly (alkylmethyl acrylates). Organic compound containing active hydrogen is at least one alcohol of formula R1OH, where R1 represents a linear or branched alkyl group C1-C12.
EFFECT: when using a catalyst prepared using the present spherical carrier in the polymerisation of propylene, said catalyst exhibits high polymerisation activity and a high stereo directivity.
