Temporarily change the signal to establish a network connection and, comparing the signal change time for setting the network connection and the time of the sensor signal change, identifying the patch panel port, where the network device that transmits the signal for the network connection is connected.
EFFECT: technical result consists in providing monitoring of optical cable connections without setting up a network connection, using signals to establish a connection.
