FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for monitoring the technical condition of injectors and can be used to diagnose injectors during operation of diesel engines. In the proposed method, using a diagnostic complex, including a vibration acceleration sensor with a magnet mounted on the injector body, a signal conversion device, laptop, vibration sensor signal is subjected to the acceleration to the Fourier transform, the amplitude and frequency of the vibration of the injector are determined at information frequencies that vary with the engine speed, and the amplitude of vibration varies depending on the technical condition of a nozzle, the obtained vibroacoustic characteristics of the nozzle are compared with the reference of new and worn out nozzles, then the level of wear of the nozzle spring and coked nozzle holes of the injector are determined.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to determine the technical condition of nozzles according to the vibroacoustic characteristics during the operation of a diesel engine.
