FIELD: measuring equipment; data processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for diagnosing the condition of critical parts of a railway rolling stock. According to the invention, the diagnostics of the parts are carried out with the movement of the freight train in real time, while the acoustic emission sensors (AE) are mounted on the parts before the movement starts. Digital system for recording and analyzing AE signals is located in a car or locomotive. AE is recorded in detail before the movement of the freight train, during the movement and after the movement of the freight train under the load of the wagons. In the process of recording AE signals, they are processed, including software filtering, comparison of the acoustic images with the reference spectra with respect to spectral characteristics and/or isolation of the peak amplitudes of signals corresponding to the propagation of defects (cracks), on the basis of which the presence of dangerous defects (cracks) in detail is determined.
EFFECT: as a result, the duration and laboriousness of the diagnostics of parts decreases, and the reliability of the results increases due to the use of real operational loads.
